Thin Places in a Rubenesque Earth

Sitting by the Hudson River facing the New Jersey Palisades at sunset is one of my “thin places.” As Eric Weiner wrote in The New York Times, a thin place is a place “where the distance between heaven and earth collapses and we’re able to catch glimpses of the divine, or the transcendent or, as I like to think of it, the Infinite Whatever.”

So many places on this planet hold the title of “Thin Places” for me.  Happy Earth Day!  Bellow just a few of my favorites...Thank you, Earth for holding a space for me.
